English Day Camp
This week we have been very busy with English Day Camp. Over the past three days, us, the Aggies, and some of the Thai Christians have put on an English Camp for 2 nursing colleges in Bangkok. The first day we had around 70 students, the 2nd day close to 200 students, and the third day was all the 3rd year students at Suan Dusit Nursing College.
Also on Friday evening, Neale started his “English club” at the Suan Dusit Nursing College. We had about 30 students attend this week and we were told that about 80 have signed up to be a part of the English club. We will be going every Friday evening for about 2 hours to give some of the students there an opportunity to practice their English with us. One of the elder’s wives here at Somprasong is a faculty member at this college.
Ellie was a big hit at both of the colleges. After we were finished, many students wanted to come and get their picture taken with her.
